Calvert Architectural Group, Inc. was retained by REDA, LLC & HPA to provide code research, design, and construction document services for the 190,000 sq ft. conversion of S-1 Occupancy to H-3/H-4 and H-4 Hazardous Occupancy storage areas. Additionally, CAG recommended that Alternative Means and Methods be given consideration for the remaining building square footage in the S-1 Occupancy warehouse and F-1 Occupancy service areas to avoid the construction costs that would have been required for the Fire Wall compartmentalization of that square footage.

Project Highlights:

Developing the approved H-Occupancy design that utilized Type III-B Construction and avoided the proposed alternative Type II Construction for unlimited storage, which would have added considerable cost to the project.
Successfully obtaining the approval of the Fire Marshall for the RFAM, which was prepared and presented by TERP Consulting.
Coordinating with HPA and their project team and participating in the delivery of this important facility for REDA, LLC and EcoLab.
